| Comments: | Spring YNP Bear Management closures have been lifted in much of the Lower and Middle Geyser Basins per park Bear Management webpage. On Sunday, Fountain Flats Drive was open along with Freight Road trail at both ends. Grand Prismatic Overlook trail was closed, likely due to snow accumulation. There were no Bear Management closure signs on either gate of Firehole Lake Drive (though still closed to autos due to road conditions). Unlike the more extensive closures experienced in recent years, the only LGB Bear closure still in effect this spring is Mary Mountain trail. |
