Comments:Water lasted right about 3 minutes. Cycles of Skinny have "heavy" overflows - pouring water out of the cone - every 30-50 minutes. Both eruptions I have seen from the start have occurred within 5 minutes of a heavy overflow that creates a pool around the northern half of the cone. Once the water level drops below overflow, bubbling and splashing builds and builds into an eruption. Overflow cycles were observed at 1721 and 1801 before this eruption. Good splashing occurred after the 1721 overflow, however it abated. Erupted on next cycle.
