2856 19 May 2016 @ 0955 19 May 2016 @ 0957 MAB Serious boiling for 2 minutes with no eruption, continuing as pool lowered and you could tell it was a No-Go. Way bigger activity than the usually observed "push with no eruption".
2606 01 Nov 2015 @ 0930 01 Nov 2015 @ 1320 MAB Regular cycles with no eruption, 0938 1007 1039 1112 1310. No other eruptions or attempts seen.
2593 31 Oct 2015 @ 1010 --- MAB good try, good push, but no eruption 1010
1501 13 Jan 2015 @ 1600 --- MAB Inactive- the runoff 'shelf' where we watch first overflow when Constant refills prior to a normal eruption is green.
1486 02 Nov 2014 @ 0000 02 Nov 2014 @ 2359 MAB Both Constant and Whirligig have lots of water coming into them from above, since late Sept. Both were looking a little 'colloidal blue' in the centers of their craters. I wish I had another few weeks to watch what happens.
1462 21 Oct 2014 @ 1240 21 Oct 2014 @ 1717 MAB Cycles with no eruptions at regular intervals 1240-1400, and 1514-1717
1429 30 Sep 2014 @ 1200 30 Sep 2014 @ 1800 MAB Regular cycles from 15-20 minutes with overflow, pushes or attempts at bursts less than 12", but no airborne eruptions seen. Observed 3+ hours in the morning, and separate 1 hour visits in the afternoon with no eruptions.
1047 20 Apr 2014 @ 0000 20 Apr 2014 @ 2359 MAB Opening Weekend saw no eruptions of Constant Geyser.  It cycles as it has in the past at regular intervals (less than 20 min) but does not erupt.  Per the YVO graphs this change occurred on April 8, 2014.  I did not know how to interpret the drastic change in the shape of the YVO graph until I was able to observe the cycles in person.  Some of them look quite promising with good blurps and overflow, but no eruptions were seen during the time it was observed.
879 29 Sep 2013 @ 0000 29 Sep 2013 @ 2359 MAB Constant was cycling as usual today at about 19 minutes. The winds were nasty both there and at Vixen, I did not see a full eruption of Constant, but the cycles are holding. 3 pushes with no eruption, exit, return and one push, then I left.
373 31 Jul 2012 @ 1735 31 Jul 2012 @ 1850 MAB Tuesday 31 July - regular pushes at 1735, 1755, 1813, 1832, and 1850, but no true eruptions seen in that time frame
374 21 Jul 2012 @ 1639 21 Jul 2012 @ 1934 MAB Push with no eruption 3 out of 9 intervals (1639, 1819, and 1934)
77 14 Jan 2012 @ 1845 --- Graham Water came up, then went down without erupting.
4725 19 Jul 1999 @ 1800 --- research-mab 07/19/1999 Constant “constantly” every 15-20 min
5381 01 Feb 1995 @ 1800 --- research-mab 2/1/95 It seems the disturbance activity is basin wide! .... Constant was seen to have a 3 burst series followed by a 4 burst series and a 4 burst series.
4711 06 Jul 1990 @ 1800 --- research-mab 7/6/1990 Constant, Big Whirligig and Fireball all very active today.
7641 26 Jun 1986 @ 1800 --- research-mab 6-26-1986 Constant Geyser – Erupting at irregular & possibly cyclic intervals in spite of heavy inflow of water from northeast side. Water is moderately opalescent blue & algae lines the eastern 1/3 f the geyser’s basin. T=144º
5132 01 Jun 1980 @ 1800 --- research-mab 06/01/1980 Constant Geyser – beautiful green algae, no evidence of recent activity, 124ºF
4991 22 Sep 1979 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/22/1979 I have not seen Constant erupt since the disturbance. It gently boiled for about a minute and a half this afternoon.
5062 24 Aug 1979 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/24/1979 Constant Geyser had 2 eruptions within 5 minutes. {no times but indicating multiple burst eruptions-mab}
5056 08 Aug 1979 @ 1047 --- research-mab 08/08/1979 At 1047 Constant boiled and well up as it does prior to erupting, but did not erupt.
5048 19 Jul 1979 @ 1800 --- research-mab 07/19/1979 Right at the beginning of Constant geyser’s eruption, steam explosions sounded just like firecrackers exploding - 9 second eruption.
5375 04 Sep 1977 @ 1025 --- research-mab 09/04/1977 Complete Log entry: Little Whirligig started to erupt at 1016 there was no water in the pool when the geyser first sprayed. It lasted about 8 minutes. Constant geyser erupted twice during L.W. eruption, the first eruption was small 4-5 ft. the second was very powerful up to 25’ After L.W. Big Whirligig erupted at 1025 The pool was at an extreme low level when it started. Splutter pot started eruptions in unison with higher bursts matching the higher bursts of all four geysers.
5182 12 Jul 1977 @ 1800 --- research-mab 07/12/1977 Africa Fireball Arsenic Blue Big Whirly and Constant all in eruption at once. {no times}
5152 30 Jun 1977 @ 1800 --- research-mab 06/30/1977 Constant has been erupting every few minutes. Normal types following each other. In a space of 10 minutes 3 eruptions were observed.
5232 11 Sep 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/11/1976 Constant apparently erupting every 15-20 secs, belching muddy water. Observed by maintenance guys from 1100-1130
5250 01 Sep 1976 @ 1020 --- research-mab 09/01/1976 at 1020 Big Whirly & L.W. both erupting at 1020. Eruptions of Big are very large, perhaps 8-10’, while L.W. barely goes. Constant is full of water but not erupting.
5291 31 Aug 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/31/1976 Constant has been erupting every 15-20 minutes. {see complete text of disturbance note under "Whirligig 1830"}
5256 30 Aug 1976 @ 1100 30 Aug 1976 @ 1130 research-mab 08/30/1976 Visitor report of at least 4 eruptions of Constant in a period of about half hour. Visitor could be seeing Big Whirly (?), but for either features, such a display is unusual. (~11:00 – 11:30) {Note- major disturbance effects the following day-mab}
5553 15 Jul 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 07/15/1976 Constant continues having eruptions 2 minutes apart then an interval of 45-60 minutes, I think.
5631 02 Aug 1975 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/02/1975 Saw Constant eruption an estimated 40’ {no time noted}
5591 29 May 1975 @ 1800 --- research-mab 05/29/1975 {no time noted} Constant seen occasionally in short eruptions (duration to height of 10’-20’). Does not seem to be influenced by Whirligigs.
5793 28 Aug 1974 @ 1840 --- research-mab 08/28/1974 Constant – Completely dry at 1840 – L.W. was wet - had apparently been erupting.
5757 16 Aug 1974 @ 1755 --- research-mab 8/16/1974 Pinwheel erupting at 1755 ~ Constant observed 5 in a row and then I left.
5756 16 Aug 1974 @ 1530 --- research-mab 08/16/1974 Constant water level way down 1317, 1530 1st of 6 erups in 10 min
5749 14 Aug 1974 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/14/1974 Constant – Late PM Began having eruptions every minute – some 30-40 ft. (counted 17 in a row) Was very, very muddy- was bone dry at 1750 (completely drained)
5711 18 Jun 1974 @ 1830 --- research-mab 06/18/1974 {after 30 min Big & Little eruption- no time noted in log} Just as I’m leaving I notice L& B Whirligig are both “dried” & drained & Constant is erupting up to about 5’.
6060 29 Aug 1973 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/29/1973 Constant basin not full (nor empty). {no specifics}
5985 07 May 1973 @ 1800 --- research-mab 05/07/1973 Constant – was seen in eruption at least 3 times today.
5982 03 May 1973 @ 1800 --- research-mab 05/06/1973 Constant – was observed in eruption several times today, the duration was a steady 10 seconds.
5961 09 Apr 1973 @ 1800 --- research-mab 04/09/1973 Constant – several eruptions were observed today – the first seen in more than a week.
5941 31 Mar 1973 @ 1800 --- research-mab 03/31/1973 Constant over 4 hours were spent in the Porcelain Basin today but no eruptions from Constant were seen. {no time range}
5921 15 Mar 1973 @ 1646 --- research-mab 03/15/1973 From the data above it can be seen that the height of play was very uniform and shorter than yesterday’s recorded eruption. This is due at least in part to the shearing off of the water jets by a brisk NW wind. The fact that there were no eruptions after 3:27 is puzzling. Two possible causes might be considered: 1, the water running into the pool of Constant Geyser may have cooled more from the increasing northwesterly winds and the slightly lower air temperature from both the wind and the sun starting to go down in the west.
5923 15 Mar 1973 @ 1500 --- research-mab 03/15/1973 After 3:00 PM Blue Geyser was observed to be playing strongly. Possibly the increased runoff which is relatively cooler by the time it reaches the pool of Constant could have temporarily flooded the geyser off as it has with Pinwheel Geyser.
5911 10 Mar 1973 @ 1635 --- research-mab 03/10/1973 At 4:35 Feisty, dark Cavern, Africa, Little Whirligig, Fireball, Blue, Arsenic, and Constant Geyser were all seen to be playing at the same time. (for 10-15 seconds due to the very short duration of Constant) Four playing together is not unusual but 8 is.
