10721 04 Nov 2018 @ 1020 --- MAB Moxie was invisible today. I finally found it from above & saw some strong convection. Water is still low. Definitely not IE from 0900-1020
10302 17 Sep 2018 @ 1530 --- MAB Water level is higher than previous sightings since it quit erupting, with tiny blips in the center. Still not close to full
9839 22 Aug 2018 @ 1550 22 Aug 2018 @ 1730 MAB Moxie - in eruption all summer, was totally quiet! Did anyone notice when it quit?
8437 03 Jun 2018 @ 1115 03 Jun 2018 @ 1525 srboom Moxie was playful mostly nonstop for the time I was there. I noticed that there would be pauses, usually less than 1m, after a larger burst. For the most part play was less than 1ft tall, but the larger bursts would get up to 5ft - which tended to be followed by a pause. I didn't notice any discernible pattern time-wise, aside from the pauses after a larger burst. Just fun to see it playing, something else to watch while waiting for Whirligig/Constant/Arsenic!
8174 12 May 2018 @ 1024 --- srboom Moxie was active on and off the whole time I was there. I didn't pay good attention to when it was off or on, but will do better to take note of that at my next visit. Some "bursts" (I would call them "splurts") were up to 2-3ft in height.
5191 21 Aug 2017 @ 0840 21 Aug 2017 @ 1612 srboom Splashes were visible from the boardwalk by Constant. Generally splashes were 1-3", notable exceptions were 6" at 0851 and 12" at 0950.
4813 05 Aug 2017 @ 1800 --- MAB splurting 1-4 inches, a few maybe even reaching 5-6"
4794 02 Jun 1999 @ 1800 --- research-mab 6/2/99 Moxie Geyser is active!! (Has been dormant since ‘95) It is not making much height yet though. Only about a foot.
5384 01 Feb 1995 @ 1800 --- research-mab 02/01/1995 It seems the disturbance activity is basin wide! Lava Pool, Arsenic, Moxie, Pinto, Constant, Scummy Pool, Dark Cavern and Ledge all seem affected … Moxie to 8-10 feet for 3m19s. {no time noted}
4784 17 Aug 1981 @ 1800 --- research-mab 8/17/1981 Water level 1’ down in vent of Moxie G where usually there is a spring
4785 14 Aug 1981 @ 1800 --- research-mab 8/14/1981 Arsenic Geyser is in perpetual spluttering as is Moxie and 2 other small spouters. Fireball is somewhat weak. GS
4782 27 Sep 1980 @ 1800 --- research-mab Saturday September 27 1980 Moxie Geyser drained, splashing water and steam - one foot above vent 204ºF
5092 01 Jul 1978 @ 1800 --- research-mab 07/01/1978 Moxie and Ledge with minor play also. A small spouter is now evident in the runoff channel directly behind Constant (probably Acute Spouter? mab)
5209 17 Sep 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/17/1976 Moxie hasn’t been seen in action for the last few days.
5240 07 Sep 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 09/07/1976 Moxie seen in eruption 4 times: Only goes about 2’ high
5259 18 Aug 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/18/1976 Arsenic putting out a lot of steam, Moxie seen in action only twice.
5262 11 Aug 1976 @ 1500 --- research-mab 08/11/1976 “afternoon” - Moxie erupting about every 3-4 minutes
5263 07 Aug 1976 @ 1630 07 Aug 1976 @ 1700 research-mab 08/07/1976 Arsenic eruptions seemed to be related to eruptions of Moxie When observed from 430-500. When Moxie erupted Arsenic would decline to nearly nothing. Then it would surge forth strongly when Moxie was inactive.
5266 06 Aug 1976 @ 1800 --- research-mab 08/06/1976 Moxie Geyser - during walks 1, 3, 5, Moxie was seen erupting each time.
