9714 14 Aug 2018 @ 1020 --- Micah Kipple I suspect there are two features behind lone star that are behaving as geysers. The first one lies at the west edge of the hillside cluster just before the thick grass. I can only hear it periodically and during the loudest times I can see water splashing within its blackish orange Crater. The second feature is the farthest pool back within the grassy area. I have watched it for sometime and it certainly seems like the splashing is periodic. With long pauses between bursting episodes.
9687 12 Aug 2018 @ 1426 --- JSJ Tonsils Geyser (Tangled Geysers Group, Lower Geyser Basin) quiet - haven't seen activity from it at all this summer.
9686 12 Aug 2018 @ 1405 --- JSJ Tiny active blippers just southeast of Tonsils Spring (Tangled Geysers Group, Lower Geyser Basin).
9683 12 Aug 2018 @ 1104 --- JSJ Round Spring (Thud Group, Lower Geyser Basin) - in overflow.
9650 11 Aug 2018 @ 1925 --- JSJ Two small clusters of tiny active blippers just southeast of Tonsils Spring (Tangled Geysers Group, Lower Geyser Basin).
9608 10 Aug 2018 @ 1927 --- JSJ Two blippers between Model Geyser & unnamed geyser 4 meters NNE of Model Geyser (Geyser Hill Group, Upper Geyser Basin).
9588 09 Aug 2018 @ 1038 --- JSJ Earthquake Geyser (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin). Usual intermittent low spouting.
9534 07 Aug 2018 @ 1556 --- JSJ "Bottlecap Geyser" ("new" geyser near Plume Geyser). Has been having occasional low splashing. Example: at 1556. I think "UNNG-GHG-14" has been used to refer to this feature. I have seen that designation applied to at least three different vents on Geyser Hill, so the term is here considered a nomen dubium and its usage is strongly discouraged.
9471 04 Aug 2018 @ 1918 04 Aug 2018 @ 1932 JSJ "Vertical Geyser" (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin) (= LKNN023 in the RCN database; = vent 23 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); vent is located in the vicinity of 44° 33’ 14.50" North, 110° 48' 39.96" West. No full eruptions, but noticed brief, low, light splashing at 1918 and 1932.
9469 04 Aug 2018 @ 1710 04 Aug 2018 @ 1745 JSJ Pair Geyser (= RCN database name) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is located at 44° 33' 15.35" North latitude, 110° 48' 48.74" West longitude. No visible water at 1710. A little water visible at 1745.
9457 03 Aug 2018 @ 1835 --- JSJ Tangled Geysers Group (Lower Geyser Basin) - two small areas of active blipping a little southeast of Tonsils Spring. Seen from White Dome boardwalk. No East Tangled or Spire eruptions while watching.
9453 03 Aug 2018 @ 1227 --- JSJ Old Tardy C Geyser (Sawmill Group) - in low eruption, confined to the throat of the basin.
9420 02 Aug 2018 @ 1721 02 Aug 2018 @ 1839 JSJ No activity at all in the Tangled Geysers Group - no Tonsils, no West Tonsils, no UNNG near West Tonsils, no Spire, no East Tangled, no Mat Spring, no blippers.

7752 22 Sep 2017 @ 1530 22 Sep 2017 @ 1650 Tara There appeared to be a small geyser to the east of Gentian Pool. It was erupting about every 2 minutes with durations of about 1 minute. Eruptions appeared from a distance to consist of mostly steam and reach maybe 1-2 feet, but they were definitely periodic. Rocco Paperiello remembers there being some vents in this area, and this was possibly one of them.
6165 09 Sep 2017 @ 0825 --- ypcaribou Palpitator Spring almost empty for over 5 minutes and still was when we left. Water barely visible in bottom and not rising. Reminiscent of what it used to look like back when Echinus was erupting regularly and predictably in the early 90's.

4222 26 May 2017 @ 1535 26 May 2017 @ 1623 Tara UNNG-MGB-3 (upstream from Steel Bridge) was erupting to a maximum of 1 foot, closed intervals of 2m34s, 3m03s, 3m03s, 2m47s, 3m35s, 4m00s, 2m52s, 3m53s, 3m06s, and 3m01s. Durations were 20 to 35 seconds.
4126 23 May 2017 @ 1335 --- Janet White East Chinaman Spring was milky colored, not clear. No microbes in the overflow channels (or coins or trash either)
4056 05 May 2017 @ 1115 --- Janet White East Chinaman Spring is boiling heavier than I've seen it - seems there are three different vents that boil. Some splashes reached a foot high, but most boiling reached 6-8". Heavy overflow and then a pause of maybe 30 seconds before the boiling started again. Also heard and felt light thumps when I was the only person on the boardwalk.

3422 03 Aug 2016 @ 1628 03 Aug 2016 @ 1637 JSJ Twin Butte Vista Spring - noticed visible low spouting at 1628 & 1631 & 1637.
3347 07 Jul 2016 @ 1326 07 Jul 2016 @ 1547 JSJ Pair Geyser (= RCN database name) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin); = vent 3 of Wolf & Paperiello (1989) - Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups, pp. 2, 8; Pair Geyser is located at 44° 33' 15.33" North latitude, 110° 48' 48.76" West longitude. In low splashing eruption at 1326; already calm at 1338; in moderately small splashing eruption at 1400; in intermittent, very low splashing eruption at 1418; in moderately low splashing eruption at 1547.
3346 07 Jul 2016 @ 1319 --- JSJ Unnamed geyser (UNNG) in the southwestern Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin); vent is 17 meters southwest of Little Crack Geyser; vent is at 44° 33' 14.44" North latitude, 110° 48' 41.22" West longitude; UNNG is vent 26 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups. UNNG observed to be restless, but no actual eruptions. It spit out a rock or a chunk of organic debris at 1319 - not kidding. It bounced when it hit the ground.
3216 05 Jul 2016 @ 1825 05 Jul 2016 @ 2011 JSJ Tonsils Geyser (Tangled Group, Lower Geyser Basin) has been in low to very low perpetual spouting, as usual. Viewed from White Dome Geyser area.
3207 04 Jul 2016 @ 1911 --- JSJ Unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11 meters south-southwest of UNNG-BSB-5 (perpetual spouter) and near the (former) Handkerchief Geyser. UNNG was engaged in low splashing, not above the level of the crater border.
3140 26 Jun 2016 @ 1700 --- Janet White Ephedra Spring at West Thumb is one of the central springs that drained the 2013-14 winter. It had visible water briefly in the fall of 2014. TODAY, though, it had visible water in it again. Hoping the water levels there continue to rise.
3106 20 Jun 2016 @ 1300 --- MAB NGB - Second Erupter was NOT IE at this time and other times. There was very slight pulsing of the water nearest the vent. I won't make a Note again unless I see it IE or with runoff down the channel.
3082 16 Jun 2016 @ 1421 --- MAB NGB- "Second Erupter" was NOT IE as it was my last visits. Not pulsing either. Water is accumulating farther out in its basin than before, but no overflow yet
3030 09 Jun 2016 @ 1233 09 Jun 2016 @ 1720 JSJ Small Sprinkler Group features - Ferric Geyser, Tangerine Spring, an unnamed feature just north of Tangerine Spring, and Sprinkler Geyser were all perpetual spouting, or in slightly intermittent perpetual spouting all afternoon. LKNN019 (RCN database designation) was in frequent low to moderately low eruption all afternoon, with some relatively short pauses.
3031 09 Jun 2016 @ 1251 --- JSJ Earthquake Geyser (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin) was in low to very low, intermittent perpetual spouting all afternoon.
2996 06 Jun 2016 @ 1808 --- JSJ West Sentinel Geyser was engaged in perpetual spouting, as usual.
2992 06 Jun 2016 @ 1605 --- bhoppe Lakeside Spring @ West Thumb - Pool was about 1 inch below overflow when I walked past. Bacteria was mostly washed with some yellow/orange left in the runoff. The pool itself was very murky - similar to what we saw last summer. In light overflow at 1710.
2994 06 Jun 2016 @ 1120 --- JSJ Pulsar Spouter off - I've never seen it not being a perpetual spouter. Ditto in the evening.
2980 05 Jun 2016 @ 1310 05 Jun 2016 @ 1905 JSJ No LKNN023 eruptions observed this afternoon - the basin was empty (seen from Fountain overlook platform). LKNN023 is in the Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin) and is called "Vertical Geyser" in the RCN database. This geyser is vent 23 of Wolf & Paperiello (1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups, pp. 25, 39-40). Vent is located at 44° 33’ 14.50" North, 110° 48' 39.96" West.
2981 05 Jun 2016 @ 1320 05 Jun 2016 @ 1905 JSJ No eruptions observed this afternoon of the UNNG located between Little Crack Geyser & Impatient Miser Geyser in the Sprinkler Group (Lower Geyser Basin) (= 10 meters west-northwest of Little Crack Geyser & 6.5 meters southeast of Impatient Miser Geyser) (= vent 12A of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups). UNNG vent is at 44° 33’ 14.97” North latitude, 110° 48’ 41.12” West longitude. The basin was empty.
2985 05 Jun 2016 @ 1433 05 Jun 2016 @ 1707 JSJ Unnamed geyser (UNNG) in the southwestern Kaleidoscope Group (Lower Geyser Basin). UNNG is called "Pair Geyser" in the RCN database. UNNG is vent 3 of Wolf & Paperiello (1989, Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups, pp. 2, 8). Vent is located at 44° 33' 15.33" North, 110° 48' 48.76" West. Geyser started churning at 1433. Continued churning to 1447. Noticed it was calm at 1454. Slightly intermittent churning at 1503 to 1519. Still in low eruption at 1523 and 1526 and 1529. Calmed down at 1530. In low eruption at 1533 and 1540 and 1542. Low to moderately low erupting at 1556 to 1628. Low churning at 1630. Calm at 1633 - eruption was done and basin was empty (as seen from Fountain overlook platform). Basin was water-filled at 1651, with slight roiling. No water visible at 1707 - basin apparently empty.
2982 05 Jun 2016 @ 1318 --- JSJ Ferric Geyser (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin) was in slightly intermittent, low to moderately low perpetual spouting all afternoon, as usual.
2971 05 Jun 2016 @ 1109 --- MAB NGB Back Basin - Second Erupter - (seen full and only pulsing on June 01), was IE at 1109 erupting not exactly every second, but close! I don't know if it stopped but was also IE at 1208 and 1531 when I checked. No run off down the channel is being produced
2961 03 Jun 2016 @ 1321 03 Jun 2016 @ 1633 JSJ UNNG-GHG-7 ("Son of Beach Geyser") observed to have occasional gradual basin-filling events (or near-basin filling events), followed by pulsing, followed by still water level, followed by drain. This is consistent with observed summer 2015 activity. Also - the small unnamed feature (here nicknamed "Orange Halo Spring"), which is located between UNNG-GHG-7 (= 2.1 meters north of that) & Beach Geyser (2.2 meters southeast of that) (the vent is centered at 44° 27' 52.44" North, 110° 49' 47.05" West) was observed to irregularly alternate between having an empty basin and having low spitting episodes.
