| Note: | No Ledge yet! Barrett reported an "event" at Ledge that started at 9:40PM last night. Reported Red, White, & Finger Vents put out a lot of water causing Pit (Pressure Pool) to overflow heavily to level of base of White Vent, filling Jetsum which then overflowed through grassy section to left side of Jetsum by about midnight. He said Jetsum slowly drained back down to the point I saw it at 0700 when a very small (~5 inch) triangle at the top of Jetsum's peninsula was visable. This was covered by 0856. Scott G. & I left Ledge at 2130 yesterday, but watched from the area below the museum for another 5 minutes before leaving the parking lot at 2151. Barrett did report that the "event" progressed slowly. Today at 0940, White continues to cycle and Red Vent has splashes to cone filling surges every 5 to 25 minutes. |
