| Note: | 07/14/1974 0900 Echinus had a strange eruption, the overflow lasted a full 21 min & during this time there was a very vigorous boiling & bubbling action- as it normally does when an eruption commences when the eruption did begin, it exploded into an immediate eruption- no foreplay. The initial bursts were the most impressive, which is normally not the case. Too- the eruption only lasted 2m45s . |
