| Note: | 09/10/1971 Echinus Geyser – no complete eruptions from beginning to end were observed today but we were there in time to see the draining phase from an eruption around 6:30 pm, and one important difference was noted: While it normally takes a little over 2 minutes for the pool to drain down to its lowest level, this time it took approximately 4 minutes. Water is also slightly more murky. |
