| Note: | 06/02/1965 Steamboat appeared very likely when first observed at 8:00 A.M. It was observed for 3½ hours during which time it played high (20’) and vigorously out of the South vent. At 8:36 A.M. there was a high play out of both vents. The height of this play by the North vent was estimated to be 70’. The conditions were ideal but the geyser was not triggered and continued to appear less active all day. |
