Comments:Mastiff filled gradually, eventually reaching fairly strong overflow. Just before overflow saw brief Mastiff surging of 1-2 feet, but Mastiff was never very impressive. SW Vents weak at first, gradually strengthening. Feather and Feather Satellite on for 5 minutes, restart came in about 20 seconds. Cave was on about 2 minutes after Feather start, and continued briefly after restart. Bijou went to steam at time of restart. Other active platform vents were Rust, Posthole, Posthole Satellite, and Slit, but they were mostly just pushing water rather than fully erupting. Surging in Giant was a mixture of moderately strong vertical and angled. Strongest verticals were to half height of cone, strongest angled to top of cone. Feather was on for at least 8 minutes after restart, but the last few minutes were in “refuses to die” mode.
