Comments: | “Big Sprinkler” vent. Relatively large eruption from late 1050 to early 1052 from the westernmost vent in the Sprinkler Geyser complex in the Lower Geyser Basin. Vent is located at 44° 33' 15.25" North latitude 110° 48' 39.70" West longitude, using 2016 satellite photos & Google Earth coordinates. This is ~4.25 meters southeast of West Sprinkler Geyser. High-water pool after eruption. All posted Big Sprinkler Geyser eruptions today are closed intervals. |
