Comments:New Activity in Norris Geyser Basin! Ledge Geyser goes on rampage! Ledge Geyser which has been playing at intervals of 30 to 45 minutes each day and last a duration of 5 to 10 minutes has burst forth, owing to the outlet, with a small volume of waters, beginning at 12:30 p.m. July 13, and ending at 9:30 p.m. July 13, throwing mud and dirty water during the first 3 3 to 4 hrs at an angle of 45 degrees to the distance of 50 to 75 feet. ¶ Mud Geyser, which is within 20 feet of Ledge Geyser, also started playing at 12:30 p.m. And played for 1½ hours, from 5 to 25 feet high, throwing large chunks of mud. Mud Geyser after playing this length of time burst forth with a large volume of steam with much pressure.
