| Comments: | No time given and probably not a closed interval between this and 1991/02/21. "Fan and Mortar were frequent and regular {for them} all winter. Most intervals were somewhere between 3 and 5 days. While the eruptions all had classic starts once they took place observers had to watch out for 'false starts' and episodes in which the minor vents {e.g. Gold High etc.} would completely turn off and on as many as four times. The hot cycles seen prior to the March 3 eruption ranged from 45 to 63 minutes." |
