Comments: | Eruption start @ late 1509:05. There were a few bursts, as is expected, to a few feet (actually no more than the larger play observed in 2020 thusfar). However, instead of quitting after a few seconds, it had a pause of 3 seconds starting @ 1509:09, after which it had essentially continuous splashing and growing in size, too, with culmination @ 1509:17. It kept bursting higher and higher until easily reaching perhaps 15-odd feet, likely higher. Last burst 1509:27. Did not visibly expel rocks. |
Video of this eruption starting @ 1509:09, just as the 3 second pause began. By CraigC. | Entrant: JarnoO Time Entered:2020-08-04 15:39:49 Time Uploaded:2020-08-04 15:39:49 Submitted to:Geysertimes.org |
