| Comments: | "An eruption was first observed at 7 a.m. on May 3. It began during the early morning hours, and lasted for not less than 36 hours...Recurring periods of activity took place about every 30 to 60 minutes. Infant Geyser was active during the active period of Giantess." I am assuming the last two sentences refer to this eruption, but the wording is ambiguous and it could refer to the 28 January 1968 eruption. |
