| Comments: | The West Bubbler was ie at 1331 but was not in eruption when we returned (~14:28). South Bubbler was quickly cycling between steam, spritz, and full eruption. We were all caught off guard so didn't get durations. Per Jarno via the webcam, the preceding surge had a duration of 18 s. There was a short pause and then the eruption began. No indicator, and BHI did not join with a full eruption at any point. I only saw 2 or 3 splashes out of the indicator area roughly a minute into the eruption. Listed duration also observed by Jarno. |
