Comments:Duration was approx. 10 minutes, then mostly steam with occasional splashes of water. Off at 1619. From 1030 to 1330 it had periods of splashing, sometimes it looked like Little Cub erupting, sometimes the splashes were 1.5 m high. The splashing lasted anywhere between 2 and 10 minutes, followed by periods of quiet steaming. Intervals from splashing to splashing were from 15 to 25 minutes. There was no recognizable pattern as to height, duration or intervals of splashing or the strength of POW Feathers eruption. Te Tohu is not an indicator for Pohutu at this time, it can erupt for hours with nothing from Pohutu. Pohutu erupts maybe once a day, and we were lucky to see it erupt. According to the guides this behaviour started approx. 2 months ago.
