Comments: | Last water was a large splash of water that filled the southern half of the crater rather than being a wispy amount of water mixed with steam. Following that splash, all steam immediately ceased for a few minutes before Lone Pine started having periodic episodes of forced steam. I think I enjoyed Darcie’s excitement at seeing her first complete major eruption of Lone Pine as I did watching the eruption. This is a closed major to major interval of 72h09m. |
