|Comments:||UNNG-WDG-1 was active while it was under observation today. Time shown here was the first sighting. We watched it off and on part of the day. Intervals ranged from about 25 minutes to about 35 minutes; durations were about 2 1/2 to 4 minutes. Although Scott's book says it has been a perpetual spouter since about the mid to lte 1980's, in all the time I've spent parked by White Dome watching the area, this is the first time I've ever seen any steam from the area, let alone eruptive active. The eruptive activity was about 4-5 feet above ground. If someone changes the program to list the geyser, I will enter the times that we recorded.|
