|Comments:||River on 1453. Main Vent huffing hard, then River pause at 1503. First splash Main Vent 1509. River came on briefly at 1510 but Main Vent roars shut it off at 1511. Main Vent splashes continued and River on at 1525. Main Vent splashes & roars continued until last splash at 1538. 1544 River /High on with Gold at 1548 and Angle at 1551. Water levels good to strong throughout. Four or more minutes before the eruption, High became steam driven and steady to 3-4 feet with Gold only a foot or two. Upper Mortar cone-filling surge to a foot or so, then East Vent. East Vent muddy the first few minutes. Powerful eruption - water halfway to the outhouse and many rocks thrown.|
