Comments:0922 River Vent on. 0925 Gold Vent on. 0929 GV off. 0932 RV off to start Gold Pause. 0939 RV on. 0947 RV off to start first River pause. 0950 first Main Vent splash. 0955 nice surge inside Upper Mortar's cone. 0956 RV on. 0959 RV off to start second pause. 1004 last MV splash. 1006 RV on. 1007-1009 full Bottom Vent eruption. 1010 Gold Vent on. 1022 Angle Vent on. Water levels were somewhat fair up to the 25 minute mark of River on (always a subjective description :o) ). High would occasionally rally to give the impression it was strengthening and Gold's pool was also in sight most of that time. Upper Mortar showed water two more times after the first surge and again at the end of the event cycle. Gold was off by 1039 and the cycle ended at 1048. For about 10 minutes after the Fan Vents quit, breakout spots (Frying Pan and others) on both sides of Lower Mortar's crumbly wall, steamed heavily and I could hear loud hissing with that steam.
