Temperature from that vent was then 204º. The main vent water jet activity seemed to indicate that the geyser had to struggle to keep going. The max main height reached was only half that of a typical eruption last year and the play while continuous often lagged in force. The middle vents maximum height of eruption is estimated to be 25 feet. After nearly 1 hour of play the main vent began to have its water jet become intermittent and by 5:30 it was fully into the steam phase |
