Comments:Eruptions consisted of rhythmic pulsations with jets of water usually 4’-10’ high although occasionally jets would go as high as 15’ or 20’. I watched eruption for several minutes and it had been going before I arrived and continued after I left. The pool had emptied by or before 10:20 but it was still throwing small jets of water 4-8 feet. According to the Norris Thermal Reports the name of the pool is Dr. Morey’s Porkchop. {#102}; a Dr William Doenell has seen the pool erupt 15-20 feet but the record does not state its duration.
