27653 17 Aug 2023 @ 0912 17 Aug 2023 @ 1027 Suzanne RV on 912, off 915. Main Vent splashing, Bottom Vent ie. RV back on at 936. Main Vent continues to splash. Another brief RV pause with River back on at 946. Good splashing out of Lower Mortar. Gold on 956. Gold and High activity sporadic. Angle came on briefly just blipping at 1009. RV tried to shut off but then all 3 vents were on at 1015. River off 1027.
26796 02 Jul 2023 @ 1300 --- Ben VL Cycle which this current interval seems to treat as an event cycle at this time. Decided to move the entry to regular cycle for now.
24298 07 Oct 2022 @ 1535 --- Ben VL Recovery event cycle in progress at this time. If only it could do this when it counts!
21370 19 May 2022 @ 1920 --- Tara Bottom Vent channel damp all the way to the River, still a few puddles closer to BV. Guessing there was an event cycle in the past few hours.
19943 10 Oct 2021 @ 0625 --- Ben VL Dan walked up to extremely large Upper Mortar surging at this time, WAY over the cone.
19471 10 Sep 2021 @ 2145 --- Tara Arrived at 2145 to find Bottom Vent's runoff channel wet to the river with some puddles closer to the vent. Probably the tail end of an event cycle. All vents on including Frying Pan, Gold in steam, only light grumbles from Upper Mortar.
18825 04 Aug 2021 @ 1510 04 Aug 2021 @ 1540 Brian 9 hour Angle marathon, punctuated with a brief flurry of activity. At ~1510, BV started some low splashing and LM showed low water. At 1518, R and G turned on, with A already on as it had been all day. 1520, MV huff, which shut off R, G and A. A restart at 1529, closely followed by two MV splashes. RV at 1530, GV 1533. Nothing came of this activity, but it was the very first pattern change of the day at F&M.
16009 07 Sep 2020 @ 1401 07 Sep 2020 @ 1445 William splashing in Main on arrival at 14:01, splash again at 14:03 and 14:08, water in bottom vent reaching the river by 14:12. river on weak at 14:23 with high and gold attempting to turn on unsuccessfully from 14:23-14:34, river pause at 14:34 for 4m when R, H, G and A all on at 14:38, no further splashes in main by 14:45.
14570 09 Jun 2020 @ 0944 --- underarockphoto Korben Cooper did not know the names of vents. He went down to check a reported eruption at 0513 and walked up to an event cycle. Via text we figured out which vent was which and he relayed all of the information to me via text message. I translated it to "Fan and Mortar-ese" and posted to GT. I need coffee. Flippin' kudos, Korben. That was spectacular.
9667 12 Aug 2018 @ 0923 --- Tara Arrived to find Bottom Vent's channel damp, Back Vents on, and huffs and low splashes in Upper Mortar. Probably the very end of an event cycle.
8367 30 May 2018 @ 1344 --- Janet Jones River vent on and very small splashing from Fan’s vents. No time for more observations.
6270 11 Sep 2017 @ 0608 --- Graham Garbage this morning but a couple of big splashes from MV 0608 while river on when I returned after being gone for 35m. GV started 0616. AV 0619. Bottom Vent runoff to the river by 0608. Water levels were pretty good until 0629. RV off 0708 so it was on at least an hour.
4371 27 Jun 2017 @ 1937 --- Kitt B River off with at least 4 splashes in Main. Gold on at 2001. I relayed several calls, but didn't write anything until I (Kitt) got there. Water levels were variable to poor with Angle almost the biggest. (Will delete this when Chris puts his info in.)
