9971 31 Aug 2018 @ 1019 --- MAB Water level is up, now covering the south-center rock. Water also visible in west vent area below the collapsed crater shelf.
9834 22 Aug 2018 @ 1839 --- cb water level is almost covering the center rocks and is high and boiling in the side feature.
9619 10 Aug 2018 @ 1328 --- MAB Low clear water, up a few inches since last sighting. Vigorous splashes from north vent.
9384 01 Aug 2018 @ 0943 --- MAB More water than my last visit - east side maybe 8-10" at its deepest; no water over the south-center rock; no water on west side. North vent splashing 1-2', grumbles and water noises from west vent but no water visible.
9303 26 Jul 2018 @ 1535 --- MAB LOW water. Water only present in the lower reaches of north and east side of the entire basin. West side is entirely dry. Clear water splashing 12-18" from the northerly vent.
9129 11 Jul 2018 @ 0912 --- Tara Down about 3 feet from rim and boiling and bursting to about 1 foor in north end of crater.

4788 02 Aug 1987 @ 1800 --- research-mab 8/2/1987 Crater Spring on the trail past Echinus – is erupting 2-3 feet high, not continually.
4841 02 Aug 1983 @ 1800 --- research-mab 8/2/1983 Marker at Crater Spring still in place so definitely dormant. Yellow Funnel still clear and overflowing. Blue drained.
4978 13 Oct 1979 @ 1800 --- research-mab 10/13/1979 Crater Spring was periodically throwing grey water across the trail this afternoon. Bursts were hitting out 6 to 8 feet. I moved the logs marking the trail back 5 feet. The water level in the pool itself was the lowest I have seen.
