33330 30 Sep 1973 @ 1200 --- research-mab – no time - Hodapp’s Hole... NE of Son of Green Dragon. It is a shallow depression approximately 4 feet in depth. The depression is about 8 feet by 5 feet. 1973 - The first recorded observation of this feature occurred this summer. Although it is known to have erupted previously as shown by the wave action on tiny flecks of silicate which are very numerous in the depression. The feature shows fountain style activity, filling, erupting water in bursts to 5 feet then draining down 14 inches. The cycles lasts only several minutes. [NOTE no date in Thermal Record – EOM]
