20033 18 Oct 2021 @ 0925 --- Tara Water level high but not at stall level. Clepsydra steady, no visible water level in side vent. Spasm just starting. No eruption as of 0945.
20031 17 Oct 2021 @ 1755 --- bbev No visible water, guessing mid cycle. Pool in front of clepsydra is empty and no splashing.
19963 11 Oct 2021 @ 0954 --- bbev pool is high, about 16" below rim. Morning also high in pool.
19842 01 Oct 2021 @ 1428 --- Graham First small rise in pool observed. Still very low, but rising during the stall.
19540 13 Sep 2021 @ 1611 --- Graham At least 5 Clepsydra pauses after Fountain. Likely in a stall, did not stay. This morning's "stall" had an interval of 4h24m, so this doesn't automatically mean it will be a long interval.
19537 13 Sep 2021 @ 1350 --- Graham Slight rise in the pool from empty but still not covering much at all. Similar to the interval after the long stall on 9/9.
19535 13 Sep 2021 @ 0941 --- Graham First view in the pool and water rising, most rocks covered.
19408 09 Sep 2021 @ 1700 --- Graham Water level has come up slightly from the low/empty level. Still very low. Stopped rising about 1800. Still doing some slight rise and drop cycles. Some rocks still visible including the tip of the triangular rock on the right side.
19403 09 Sep 2021 @ 1125 --- Graham Slight drop in water level now Clepsydra is on strong. Slow drop continued until Fountain erupted.
19402 09 Sep 2021 @ 0858 --- Graham Water rising in Fountain. Hard to see prior to this but tops of rocks are still visible.
19208 31 Aug 2021 @ 1849 --- Graham Pool dropped slightly when Clepsydra turned on. Continued to drop until observations ceased with lack of light.
19194 31 Aug 2021 @ 1612 --- Graham Very small rise in the pool around time if 10th Clepsydra pause. 1612 2 to 2.5 feet down from the rim and slowly rising.
19054 24 Aug 2021 @ 1742 24 Aug 2021 @ 1901 minissa Arrived to find the entire Fountain area really quiet except for New Bellefontaine. Jets every 3-4 minutes but short and weak. Spasm came on fairly strong 1800. For the time we were there, Morning was quite full and continuing to rise. 1823 water rose in Fountain so visible from observation deck but then held at about 18 in below overflow. Clepsydra alternated periods of quiet with periods of activity during which mainly vents 2 and 3 erupted with many blue bubbles and excellent height. We reported to Tara, who said this was a stall and, while we had a 50/50 chance of getting Fountain as long as Clep alternated starting and stoppi g, the more likely scenario was an eruption 7.5 to 10.5 hours after previous Fountain eruption.
19011 23 Aug 2021 @ 0900 --- steve Fountain area, PEANOT is full and overflowing but not erupting. Jet and Super Frying Pan are off. No water in Spasm. Bearclaw is growling but nothing is making it to the surface. Clep is ie. Jelly is too low to see the water level.
18640 23 Jul 2021 @ 2220 24 Jul 2021 @ 0030 Tara No eruption during this time. Stall behavior: Fountain and Morning water levels high, Spasm high and surging 2-4', Clepsydra pausing and restarting periodically, Jet rumbling constantly with erratic eruptions. Clepsydra last pause 0013 and last restart 0016, steady from then until 0030 when I left the area. I am confident the 10h interval is closed.
18423 14 Jul 2021 @ 1110 14 Jul 2021 @ 1305 Tara No eruption during this time
17966 21 Jun 2021 @ 1544 --- Scott H tour guide report seeing Fountsin between 1530 and 1600
17783 14 Jun 2021 @ 0001 14 Jun 2021 @ 1200 aferrara Electronic logger seems to be missing some (not all) mid-day eruptions. Eruptions observed directly are not always represented in the logger data in that time period. Long intervals, as always, may or may not represent closed intervals, even with the assistance of the electronic logger.
17785 14 Jun 2021 @ 0835 --- Graham Empty and damp. Clepsydra side pool water high. Clepsydra on steady, not trying to pause. Ftn must have erupted recently, maybe 0700 to 0730? (0737 per Lynn) Spasm empty. No water visible in Jelly. 0850 water slightly higher in Ftn but still full of rocks. No water visible in Morning. 0905 Jelly water rising, deep in the vent. 0920, 0935 unchanged, Jelly slowly rising. 0950 Fountain water level down a little to "normal" level. 1005 Clepsydra side vent boiling on left side. 1020 unchanged. 1035 water barely visible in Morning. 1050 unchanged.
17758 13 Jun 2021 @ 1630 13 Jun 2021 @ 1920 Tara high water level in Fountain and Morning, Spasm full & intermittently bursting 2-4', Clepsydra pausing, Jet dry and grumbling. Water levels rose in F, M, & MT which showed visible boiling at 1806. Jet grumbling got louder until it erupted at 1800. Clepsydra last pause 1822, on at 1826, full strength & steady at 1835. F, M, & MT dropped a few inches after Clep became steady, no eruptions from any of the 3 as of 1920. Will fill in more details later.
17738 12 Jun 2021 @ 2100 13 Jun 2021 @ 0035 William did not erupt during this time
17734 12 Jun 2021 @ 2057 --- William 12"-16" below rim
17709 12 Jun 2021 @ 0949 --- bbev water is high, 16-18" below rim
17364 01 Jun 2021 @ 2140 --- Tara Had not erupted as of this time.
17222 28 May 2021 @ 0830 --- Tara Looked post eruptive. Twig just ending, Fountain runoff wet, Clepsydra side vent down several inches, Spasm draining.
17211 27 May 2021 @ 1911 --- JSJ Inclinometer reading: height of Fountain Geyser's 1911 to 1938 eruption was 67 feet at least. Two decent bursts later in the eruption weren't measured.
17202 27 May 2021 @ 1530 --- bbev water in pool visible from boardwalk, 16" below rim and up into the channel.
17110 17 May 2021 @ 0810 17 May 2021 @ 0930 Tara In area for this time, no eruption of Fountain. It had been at least 2 hrs since the previous eruption based on runoff channels.
16444 19 Oct 2020 @ 0935 --- William no water visible in Fountain, Clep side vent also empty.
16099 13 Sep 2020 @ 0831 --- WillBoekel post eruptive
15681 22 Aug 2020 @ 1320 --- deanl platform was wet from recent eruption, so assume it was12:30-12:40-ish?
15644 18 Aug 2020 @ 1850 18 Aug 2020 @ 2115 BrandonC Observed from great fountain and checked fountain from 2030-2115 Good pool when I was leaving
15564 13 Aug 2020 @ 1319 13 Aug 2020 @ 1343 JSJ Highest water during Fountain Geyser's 1:19 to 1:43 PM eruption was about 66 feet.

15038 19 Jul 2020 @ 1420 19 Jul 2020 @ 1445 Yates Was driving and didn’t catch the precise time but was ie on my way from Norris to UGB
14855 02 Jul 2020 @ 0815 --- Graham Clep side pool splashy. Spasm down. Jelly dropping. PEANOT down but filling.
14680 19 Jun 2020 @ 0900 --- Ben VL Visitors reported to me a fountain duration exceeding 40 minutes for an eruption sometime this morning. Their description matched an eruption of fountain so I thought I should make a note.
14640 14 Jun 2020 @ 1748 --- CraigC From Great Fountain observed steam rise just above the trees in the area of Fountain when no steam had been visible for the previous 20 minutes
14629 13 Jun 2020 @ 1406 --- William post eruptive, clep paused
14048 22 Dec 2019 @ 2033 --- Micah Kipple No fountain yet.
14045 20 Dec 2019 @ 0909 --- Micah Kipple Water very high in both Fountain and Morning. Clepsydra Weak and pausing infrequently.
13892 06 Oct 2019 @ 0726 --- jkgood I believe I just missed an eruption. Water in shoulder pools still steaming. Clep was off on arrival at 7:26- restarted 7:29/ stopped again ~7:34- back on 7:41 Jet grumbling and boardwalk spattered by SPF
13881 04 Oct 2019 @ 1844 --- Tara no eruption as of this time.
13877 04 Oct 2019 @ 1800 --- Tara Water level extremely high in both Fountain and Morning. Water well out the "neck" of Ftn, maybe 1 foot below rim. Looks to be a stall, though I did not see any unusual behavior from Clepsydra during my time observing the group.
13783 23 Sep 2019 @ 0903 --- mroseum logger battery dead
13772 20 Sep 2019 @ 1840 --- Ben VL Clep side vent empty splashing. Water in Morning well below island. A couple jets observed. My guess is somewhere mid-cycle between two eruptions.
13661 12 Sep 2019 @ 1218 --- Barbara Lasseter 2 parallel steams from fountain area as seen from FLdr
13640 10 Sep 2019 @ 0811 --- Barbara Lasseter Big steam began as seen from Thud pullout. Ended 0848. Clepsydra steam continued for30 min after
13484 29 Aug 2019 @ 0000 --- mroseum Fountain Logger only shows later morning starting 8/29. No electronic back-logs before that can be made
13140 10 Aug 2019 @ 0620 --- RMichaels Based on water surrounding platform, no water seen in Morning or Fountain, and Clepsydra's side vent being full of water, I would assume an eruption occurred sometime in previous hour.
13060 05 Aug 2019 @ 2119 --- Stephen_Gemar No eruption of Fountain as of 19:19. Water had been sitting part way up the crater, almost to the top of the large dark notch on the back of Fountain’s crater, and didn’t seem to move during our observation.
12939 01 Aug 2019 @ 1421 01 Aug 2019 @ 1458 JSJ Inclinometer: highest water at least ~58 feet. Saw a taller spout but didn't get a chance to measure.
12870 29 Jul 2019 @ 2005 --- Tara Fountain's formation and runoff channel still wet. Clepsydra side vent about a half inch below rim, gently bubbling and pulsating. Back side if Morning dry. Puddles around Morning's Thief.
12790 24 Jul 2019 @ 1545 --- Tara No eruption yet since 0615ie Fountain. No water or much steam from Morning's Thief as of 1530. Water level in Morning was rising extremely slowly and as of 1530 had not covered the "island" next to the peninsula on the left side of the crater. It had a lazy boil with very little convection at that time.
12508 17 Jul 2019 @ 1355 17 Jul 2019 @ 1445 Tara Formation dry, water levels in Fountain and Morning looked like Fountain was in eruption window, Jet initial at 1412.
12484 14 Jul 2019 @ 1301 --- jazzknick Water slowly rising in Fountain and Morning, approx 2 inches per hour est. apart from Clepsydra, no other associated features active.
12483 14 Jul 2019 @ 1231 14 Jul 2019 @ 1233 jazzknick Fountain & Morning water level 3 ft below rim and gently steaming. Runoff channels dry in 83 degrees temps. No other features active except Clepsydra is.
12470 13 Jul 2019 @ 0505 --- ypcaribou Two tall columns of steam seen from road southbound. One was Clepsydra. Other to left of Clepsydra.
12461 12 Jul 2019 @ 1820 --- Tara No eruption as of 1820, water visible in Morning's Thief starting at 1712.
12406 07 Jul 2019 @ 0520 --- LynnS Steam in the north portion of the runoff channel east of the crater indicates Fountain recently erupted. Eruption finished before 0520
12052 30 Jun 2019 @ 0530 --- LynnS Clepsydra was ie, Fountain had recently finished an eruption. Clepsydra’s side vent still a blue pool filled with water. Jet was not erupting at one to five minute intervals so the recent eruption of Fountain was not a dual with Morning.
11849 16 Jun 2019 @ 2050 --- LynnS Had not yet erupted
11780 14 Jun 2019 @ 0829 --- William post eruptive. water barely visible in Fountain, no water visible in Morning. New Thing mostly drained.
11778 13 Jun 2019 @ 1548 13 Jun 2019 @ 1622 JSJ Inclinometer readings: Fountain Geyser's highest spouts reached 54 to about 65 feet high.
11735 11 Jun 2019 @ 1834 11 Jun 2019 @ 1907 JSJ Inclinometer reading: Fountain Geyser's eruption reached 60 to 64 feet high.
11652 08 Jun 2019 @ 0725 --- LynnS Water level in Clepsydra’s side vent (CSV) visible but pool is not completely full. Estimated time of most frequent Fountain eruption is about 1-1/12 to 2-1/2 hours ago based on other observations made over the past two weeks of the relationship between the water level in CSV and Fountain’s eruptions.
11641 07 Jun 2019 @ 2120 --- William no eruption prior to 21:20.
11640 07 Jun 2019 @ 2112 --- User34 Does not appear to have erupted by this time
11633 07 Jun 2019 @ 1218 --- JSJ Inclinometer reading: tallest Fountain bursts about 62 feet high.
11487 01 Jun 2019 @ 2310 --- Tara No eruption yet.
11422 30 May 2019 @ 0220 --- Graham End of eruption that started yesterday at 2304.
11368 26 May 2019 @ 1558 --- Micah Kipple Surroundings are relatively dry and there is water visible in the crater
11472 23 May 2019 @ 1330 23 May 2019 @ 2100 Ben VL Arrived around 13:30 to find Clep pausing frequently and high water levels in Fountain and Morning. We all thought the behavior was odd, because we thought Fountain's interval was approaching 8h. Found out later that Fountain went short and erupted just under three hours before we arrived. Mystery solved. The Fountain group was in a stall for most of the afternoon. At 14:49, Fountain had water within a foot of overflow. Noted at 16:07 that Fountain appeared to be dropping. Water was high in Morning the whole time, and we did note convection at 14:37 as well as some bubbles later on and throughout a lot of the afternoon. Clepsydra was having long, frequent pauses early in the afternoon, the last one I noted started at 14:33. Jet was not in series as far as I'm aware when we arrived, but the activity slowly picked up throughout the day. Several Twig's - though I only noted one at 14:28 - and activity from other features. We first noticed bubbling in MT at 15:14. That eventually progressed to a boil, and an eruption at 20:28. We left after that. Just as we were about to go behind the trees driving away, saw Fountain's steam column start to rise. 20:42, likely ns. We went back to take a look. Just Fountain, with a beautiful sunset in the background. Could have been more MT's, did not stick around for duration.
11334 23 May 2019 @ 1300 23 May 2019 @ 1625 Kyle fountain in a stall. Clepsydra switching frequently from on to off. morning very full, less than 1 ft below rim. Fountain as full as less than 1 ft below rim and pushing up the "neck". Jet rumbling almost non stop but rarely showing any water
11273 20 May 2019 @ 1020 --- Micah Kipple Morning and Fountain both have decent water levels but the whole complex is quiet
