| Note: | 4/6/1998 - no time noted - Lots of interesting things going on in Porcelain Basin... We have a new thermal feature! A high pressure, super heated steam vent has broken out on the rim of Jetsam Pool. This vent is part of a large group on the side towards Jetsam and several in the runoff of Ledge. The temp is 97.8 C at the vent and the steam is pretty high pressure. Ledge is in a quiet mode. There has been some kind of change in the water though. The growth in the runoff channel is very new. There is also some interesting deposition near the vent. |
