| Note: | 8/31/1994 - no time noted - After the Ledge eruption... Hurricane Vent has started an interesting eruptive pattern – first noticed Fri or Sat. There is a steam vent on the NE side of slope which will release a great amount of steam for 30 sec. After which water flows from a small 1” x 1/2” (?) square vent below the steamvent quite near the pool level. The rock around the water run off area is black in color – the water flows for 30 sec or so… Have seen series of eruptions & also single eruptions an hour or so apart. |
