| Note: | 8/8/1988 - no time noted - Crater Spring water level is high. The water is over the perimeter ledges. The color is clear bluish green- due to sulfur lining of pool. - Root Pool’s water level is about 4 feet below the ground level, which is 2 feet lower than I’ve ever seen it before. There is a vent in the northern pool which boils; water flows to the more southern part through a narrow shallow channel. |
