Note:7/7/1982 - {"Moonlight group"} New Little Geyser Near Palpitation Spring: Night of the 6th (July) during moonlight walk nothing here but indications of maybe something happening lots of little vents [written in: “correction: was observed 7/6 moonlight walk as a hot steaming muddy area. Did not notice eruptions. D.S.”] Morning of the 7th= some small bubbling in a little pool about 1 to 1 ½ feet wide area – near (right next to) walkway and 10 feet (maybe 15) from Palpitation Spring At about 2:10 Palpitation Spring all drained out. New Geyser area = full of water in a 4 foot wide by 5 ½ foot long area – some bubbling. At about 2:45- new geyser area dry – all drained out. Palpitation Spring still all drained out. At about 3:15 New geyser area – little pool near 2/3 full with spouts to 10 inches. (mostly near 4 or 5 inches) At about 3:25 little pool almost filled bubbling and smaller spouting At about 3:40 little geyser pool – completely drained out. Palpitation Spring – almost full
