| Note: | Friday July 10 1981 - no time noted - brought down 4 barricades from Mammoth this morning & closed off trail with warning signs by Sunday. The signs read “Scalding Water – Do Not Cross while erupting” And “Extreme Caution – Do not Cross While Sunday Geyser is in eruption”. Sunday Geyser, by the way, is splashing all the way into Hurricane Vent! |
