Note:Aug 28 1977 - no time noted - The water in the crack vent of Ledge is splashing around more today. A large 6’ diameter vent is now visible to the southwest of Valentine Geyser. The vent, which is steaming, contains a pool of greenish water. The frypan activity west of Ledge is getting more active. Many bubblers. The small steam vent that is east of the New Vent near Ledge has become a bubbling spring, about 2’ in diameter & yellow-green in color.
