Note: | 07/28/1976 Congress Pool putting on an incredible show from 900-915. The large boiling spots {word slightly illegible} that’s been active lately, was almost “erupting” as high as 5 feet! It would maintain this height for several seconds, then decrease in height briefly, then rise up again. Loud boiling sounds accompanied these surges of activity. The water level has remained unchanged for some time now & the yellow deposits (iron sulphide?) are nearly lining the entire wall of the pool. |
