Note:09/25/1971 - no time noted - Green Dragon Spring – continuing to become more violent – even more so than around Sept 11 & 12th. The water is as dark and muddy as the Gray Lakes and therefore as that of Tantalus Creek which drains it. The outer 2 pools have again regained their vigorous bubbling – throwing water up 1 foot. However the large pool in the rear just outside of the overhanging roof of the den was observed heaving water up to a height of 7 to 8 feet. Apparently it possibly has gone much higher since muddy ground is present from the splashing as far away as 10 feet from the edge of the steep north slope of the spring. Much side erosion was noted
