Note:(wc) Slot's activity since late December has gradually carved out a broad crater with steep walls in the larger Sponge mound area. The crater floor is just a tad higher than its vent, again separated by a steep wall. It was non-existent prior to this.

can you provide any close-up supporting evidence. otherwise, to me, this is at best a question to ask of on-site observers

Can confirm that when standing at the Plume bench, the impression is that Plate and Slot have craters about the same size and shape now, while Slot's was much less noticeable before the latest active phase. I can't say when the change became obvious.

This seems like an extraordinary amount of detail to be gathered from the far-off vantage point of the web cam on the Inn rooftop. I seriously doubt one can accurately judge the relative depths of the walls, crater, and relationship between the height of the floor and the vent from such a view.
