| Note: | 09/10/1971 A complete check of the Back Basin was also undertaken and most of the features there showed an increase in activity – either increased bubbling, turbidity or water level. Again an exception – Vixon Geyser. While watched for approx 5 min. it never had a true eruption. Instead it was constantly churning with the water level about 18” down. |
