Comments: | “South Sprinkler Geyser” - unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11-12 meters due south of the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin); UNNG is apparently = vent 48 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups); vent is at 44° 33’ 14.87” North latitude, 110° 48’ 39.63” West longitude. Observed eruptions at 1609, 1619, 1629, 1639, 1648-1649, 1659-1700, 1709, 1719, 1729-1730, 1740, 1750, 1800-1801, 1810-1811, (missed 3 of them during a Fountain Geyser eruption), 1850, 1900, 1910, 1920-1921, 1929-1930, and 1939. Observed closed intervals: 9m (2 of them), 10m (13 of them), 11m (2 of them). |
