| Comments: | tossed me a curve today! At 1330 the pool was up about 4 inches over Turtle Rock. The 2nd vent bubbling started and lasted over 4 minutes. The eruption started at 1335. It go to about 6-8 feet for 1 min 13 sec and QUIT. Stopped End of Discussion. No boiling no pool drop no raise nothing. The surface was absolutely calm except for the light boiling from the primary vent. After six minutes and 22 seconds the eruption started very violently no pre-bubbles to over 80 feet!! I almost fell off the bench. A Huge Water column! This time it went for 42 min and 39 sec and the steam phase was 7m39sec! |
