| Comments: | "The Memorial Day Get-Together was attended by 22 gazers. We met at Grand for the scheduled 18:00 time that Sunday. Pity those who were a bit late in arriving for our start was abruptly interrupted by an eruption of Splendid Geyser at 17:59. Sure we only saw it from afar...but we saw it reaching far above the distant ridgeline. This was Splendid's first eruption in two years to the day [last eruption listed first as May 30 but then corrected to May 29 so not quite?]! Might it have been in celebration of GOSA?" |
