11297 11 May 2019 @ 1630 --- Siegmund At least 4 sputs active between Splendid and Daisy's Thief. Splendid itself has had no recent runoff in any direction. The old channel under the boardwalk has crumbled to rubble. On the south side only a few feet near the crater rim is damp.
11101 27 Apr 2019 @ 0930 27 Apr 2019 @ 1010 Micah Kipple As it was recovering from Daisy, Splendid gave some nice sustained boils 2-3 feet high every couple minutes. Just as it returned to overflow it had a couple more boils that held at 2-3 feet and got 3-4 feet wide. Following these boils, at 0950, the vents in and around the cone on the west side of the crater (not the side vent) began boiling and perpetually erupting 1-2 feet. Simultaneously main vent went flat and remained so till the time of posting.
11100 27 Apr 2019 @ 0920 --- Micah Kipple Saw a boil from my vantage point at Zig Zag to the height of comet's cone. Unsure if side vent or main vent. Edit: was main vent. Still recovering from Daisy eruption.
9676 12 Aug 2018 @ 1545 --- minissa On closer inspection, the splashing in the left/back pool seems to be what I know as the Side Boiler, but both parts of the pool have continued to splash to about 1 foot despite having refilled. I don't know how typical this is this year but someone mentioned short Daisy intervals, so we took a look at Splendid's post-Daisy behavior...
