Comments:Primrose Springs at FLD. Main sintered spring closest to the road has dropped a foot. A feature behind and to the left of it is boiling 6-8 inches and occasionally bursting up to a foot. When first seen there was no overflow but then it overflowed towards hot lake (west) and directly south through the grass, I caught a brief whiff of low tide standing at the road. So I believe this is new activity. I certainly don't recall seeing it on any of my tours through FLD over the past several weeks. Someone please confirm? I have to continue to Bozeman but if someone (Lynn?) could get eyes on this it would be appreciated! Edit 0804, the eruption has ended and the spring is now dropping slightly and only bubbling. Primrose Springs continues to drop and has exposed black siliceous sinter shelves on its bottom. Cool!
