Comments: | “South Sprinkler Geyser” - an otherwise unnamed geyser (UNNG) located 11-12 meters due south of the Sprinkler Geyser complex (Sprinkler Group, Lower Geyser Basin). Apparently = vent 48 of Wolf & Paperiello, 1989 (Report on the Kaleidoscope & Sprinkler Groups). Vent is located at 44° 33’ 14.87” North latitude, 110° 48’ 39.63” West longitude. Same geyser as seen in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAFJ6HhPyZM Moderately low, episodic eruptions less than 1 minute in duration - same behavior as in previous years. Noticed eruptions at: 1624 (near start?), 1635 n.s., 1707, 1718, 1728-1729, 1739-1740, 1749-1750, 1800 + ~20s to 1801 + ~04s (~44 second duration), 1810, and 1831-1832. Closed intervals: 11m, 10m, 11m, 10m, 11m, 10m. Double interval: 21m. |
