| Comments: | Heard the call as I was driving in. Made it to the dip by 0852 and NV still around 250' or so. Gradual transition to bursting mode a little after 10m. Dirty NV and LOTS OF ROCKS! Some REALLY high, and big ones. SV reported to be dirty & very tall at the start. Sounds like the start got steamed out quite a bit. Eruption on the quieter side as heard from the parking lot. Wind shifted back to the restart area after it switched to steam but NV didn't make much progress towards restarting. |
