| Comments: | Unnamed geyser (UNNG) just to the left of Fitful Geyser (as seen from the Fountain overlook platform), Fountain Group, Lower Geyser Basin; vent located at 44º 33’ 04.75” North latitude, 110º 48’ 33.96” West longitude (2016 satellite photo on Google Earth); ~6 meters southeast of New Bellefontaine Geyser’s vent. Moderately frequent, episodic eruptions, not perpetual spouting. At 1617, noticed it was in full pool eruption, with low splashing, which I have never seen before. A separate vent just above it was also erupting - have never seen that active before. |
