| Comments: | By 1900 all vents except Upper Mortar was quiet. Until 1915 Upper Mortar would rumble and Main seemed to steam in response. River vent turned on at 1915 and then turned off at 1922, the first notable Main vent splash occurred at 1921 and contuinued to splash until 1926. River vent turned back on at 1931. There was not a second River pause, however Gold vent did not turn on until 1943. Angle turned on at 1945. At one time Lower Mortar was splashing and water levels looked very good in High, Gold, and Angle, but water levels dropped by 2000. |
