| Comments: | ~70 feet. The eruption was preceded for several hours by occasional very small splashing out of the vent- just enough to keep a little bit of the exterior of the cone wet. Much heavier splashing in the manner similar to that of Old Faithful started not more than 20 seconds before the geyser began to play – which is not much of a warning that would let a person run & get her or her camera! Guardian did not play |
