| Comments: | The South Vent of Steamboat appears less active when first seen at 8:30 a.m. However the South Vent seems extremely hot. There are no high eruptions but it is boiling constantly. The North Vent seems extremely active. It has a constantly boiling high water appearance. Because of the lack of plays from the South Vent it was unattended. At 9:28 the geyser erupted. As I ran back it seemed the high water phase was short but very high. |
