Note:There is a small vent about 10 feet North of Rusty that is having rare small eruptions to an inch or two above ground. Maybe it is just bubbling that rarely gets high enough to see.

Could this be Dusty Geyser? It is about 10 feet from Rusty, I think. Scott's book says "a few feet," which is kind of vague.

Dusty is more southeast. definitely not north, from Rusty, roughly 25 feet.

It is almost certainly the latter. The vent was never audibly quiet when I was studying it in the Spring, and I saw it throw droplets above ground a couple times.
