Note:Steamboat seemed stronger during my observation today than what I saw yesterday morning. Most minors appeared to be concerted, although I didn’t keep detailed notes. There was audible runoff on several minors, including a couple of babbling brooks. At times, North Vent seemed to be steam driven with little water, but much more water was seen in the minors during the middle of the hour. There were at least 3 quick splashes of water from the middle during stronger North Vent minors. I heard some rumbling, and the runoff channel is still a bit milky. The trough at Steerage is still quite full. Addendum: (Thursday, June 8) Looking at the updated Steamboat graph, looks like what I saw was the peak of the day.
